Meet Harvey, the ultimate goofball and squish mallow incarnate! This 7-month-old French Bulldog-English Bulldog mix weighs in at a hefty 23 lbs and boasts the personality to match. He is currently being fostered in Scottsdale, AZ. Harveys journey began in a SoCal shelter, where he was a medical pull due to a prolapse. He was found as a stray on the streets of Riverside, CA. Not one to do things halfway, he prolapsed again three hours after his first surgery, leading to another surgery the very same day. A third, more invasive surgery finally fixed his telescoping intestines and tacked his rectum to his body wall. All his surgeries totaled $4150.00. Now, Harvey is fit as a fiddle, back on track with his poops, and living his best puppy life! Harvey is the class clown of the canine world. He bulldozes through life with playful spirit, often mouthing hands and requiring double-handed petting sessions. His foster siblings either join in his antics or give him the cold shoulder, but Harvey knows when hes being ignored and will simply toddle off to find more fun. He loves playing with toys and tosses them around rolling on the ground wrestling them. His recent weight gain has him looking like a squish mallow pillow, with ears that are to die for and an underbite that could steal the show on any red carpet. Harveys sad eyes from the day we got him are as bright as the sun now full of happiness and love. Despite his rough start, Harveys zest for life remains undimmed. He gets along with all dogs and people, though we recommend older kids (10+) to keep up with his rambunctious play. He is learning the difference in playtime and relax time but if a toy is involved around him there is a good chance he will snatch it from a younger child. Not in an aggressive way but just to be silly and play. Harvey is learning the ropes of potty training, basic commands, and leash walking, although true to his bulldog nature, he sometimes couldnt care less. His antics are endlessly entertaining, and his quirks are purely adorable. If youre searching for a rare gem wholl shower you with unconditional love and play himself to sleep, Harvey is your guy.
