Hi, I'm Harry! But you can call me anything you want because I won't hear the name. I'm deaf! Being able to call me any name you want is just one of the really cool things about me. I don't bark at the doorbell or at noise on the TV, I don't howl at sirens, I don't get scared at thunderstorms- the list of benefits to a deaf dog just goes on and on! Plus I am really sweet. And super cute! Don't let the gray muzzle fool you- I'm about 8 years old and still have energy. I love to be by my owner and will happily sit next to you on the sofa watching TV ( remember, I don't bark at sounds on the TV!). I love to sleep next to you at night. Winter is coming and you will want me to keep you warm. You'll save on heating bills! See, I'm energy efficient! I was found as a stray downstate and because I had lost fur to flea bites, the shelter said I was "older than dirt" and wanted to euthanize me, but Young at Heart saw the good in me, and here I am! I am all recovered and have a clean bill of health. I do take one pill a day for my thyroid but may not have to be on that my whole life. I'm super nice to other dogs and older children ( I can't hear children so young ones may surprise me too much). I haven't met a cat yet but I bet I am really nice to them ,too! I'm nice to everything! Don't you want to meet me? I sure want to meet you! Come on, call Young at Heart! We'll have a play date! Love, Harry!
