Harry

Handsome, good natured and laid back Harry is looking for his new home. This little 9.2 lbs. fellow with the oh-so-captivating face has gained a pound since arriving. Found by a good Samaritan who, thankfully, stopped to check on the pet running up and down a busy roadway, he landed a temporary safe haven. Neighbors reported he had been running the road for several days and was surviving on scraps tossed out so he had something in his belly. His little paw pads were blistered, no doubt from the hot pavement, and we could not touch his feet for his first few days. This has healed well and he is fine now; and, his matted hair has been shaved and is growing back. Harry is just happy to be somewhere cool with food, fresh water and a nice, soft bed. And, he especially enjoys cuddling with his human. Harry is leash and crate trained. We are guessing this little guy has Cairn terrier (his head and face) and perhaps dachshund (body, legs & feet) in his heritage but only his DNA knows for sure. When Harry goes out for his potty break, he potties immediately and loves to take a little stroll a few times a day. He loves his bed, his canine companions and is just happy go lucky. Harry come with a full medical package including his neuter, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
