Meet this regal sir!
Harrison is an approximately 5.5-month old male Great Dane/Catahoula mix and could weigh as much as 80-100 lbs. as an adult. He was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma.
Harrison is such a sweet and friendly boy! He loves his toys but we think he would be considered a super chewer, right now anyway, so he needs tough toys. He loves you to play with him but will also entertain himself.
So far there are no issues with being left alone for a few hours; ie, no signs of separation anxiety. He would LOVE having a playmate closer to his size. He needs a home with another playful dog near his size and a stockade-fenced back yard.
He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body and rarely barks at anything, nor has he ever tried to get on the furniture or shown any signs of being a digger.
We haven’t had him around cats, but he does chase bunnies. He hasn’t been around children either, but probably no toddlers just because of his size and playfulness.
Harrison is crate-trained with no problems, almost completely house-trained if let out often. He does still have some excited pee boo-boos because of his age.
He is improving on the leash but will continue to need assistance.
Harrison is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
