***Currently located in Vancouver, BC *** Hi everyone! My name is Harris. Get ready for a love-in cuz I got lots to give. Foster mum says I'm the world's biggest cuddler and she couldn't be more right about that. I love me a good belly rub and having my ears played with. Butt scritches are good too. I don't snore or sleep walk although, sometimes I yell out in my sleep. People often stop to tell me how stunning and handsome I am. I think it's my shiny coat, it shimmers in the sunshine. I'm a big fan of sniffy walks, I can't get enough of all the wonderful scents and smells. I'm still figuring out the social etiquette when saying hi to other dogs. (I so badly want to run up and say hi to everyone.) But apparently some dogs need more time/space so my 'approach' needs work. Good thing I'm a quick study. I'll do just about anything for treatos. I love going on walks and adventures with my new dog friends! Kid-free zone is more my thing unless your kids are grown (tweens/teens ). I also might like the idea of being the only dog in the home. Don't get me wrongI love meeting up with dogs for walkies, play dates and car rides, but I'm not into sharing my food bowl and I think I want you mostly to myself. I'm an honour student when it comes to knowing where I do my business. When foster mum leaves for work, I find quiet ways to entertain myself. I don't care for dog crates and prefer my freedom to roam about. I hang out on the patio or lounge on the bed. I rarely bark and when I do, it's usually one big W O O F and then I'm done. I don't chew things eitherthat stuff is for puppeez. My foster momma says I have a wonderful recall (of course I come back for treatos, why wouldn't I?) and I know all the basic commands like Sit, Down, Stay and Paw. I also have very good manners and unless I see a squirrel, I am a good leash walker. I am trying to be the best dog possible and I cannot wait to find my furever home!
