More about Harley: - Age - 9 yrs is a guesstimate but she acts more like 7. - Female - Weight 60-70lbs - Energy level - Low to medium - Treat motivated - Once Harley has the opportunity to sniff and investigate other pups, she is solid! She currently gets along with a Pittie, Doberman and Shepherd while in foster care. - Play Style - Has short, brief bursts of play but tires somewhat quickly and then explores. - Rides well in a car - Crate trained - she is trained and would do best in an airline crate, not wire. She may howl if at home alone in a crate. - Harley has been left out of a crate when home alone and is not destructive (no crate necessary). - She is described to be a co-exister with other animals. Not really interested in play as much as she just wants to hang out with everyone. - Cats - we're unsure but during cat encounters outside of the home, she seems to ignore them. Occasionally she might try to chase but it's short lived (no prey instincts noted). - Has done well with a 10yr old kid while in foster care. - Walks well on a leash and does well with a freedom harness. - Loves nylabones and stuffies. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
