Harley

Harley the Hippo needs your help! This sweet, 5-6 year-old pittie recently lost the only family she has ever known when her human had a stroke. We took Harley into 4 Paws Farm and had her behavior assessed by trainer Matt Bryant. Harley needs to be the only dog in the house. Harley does love people, though. Matt says, “She’s super sweet, enthusiastic and has no anxiety toward humans. When you approach her with proper communication, in a parent and child relationship, she responds very well and falls all over herself to find out what makes you happy.” She loves children but due to her size it is recommended her family have older children. She is currently in boarding to work on social skills and shed some weight. Since Harley has been in boarding this last year she has lost weight and is healthy and happy. She's doing very well. She's much less reactive to seeing other dogs and just seems to be very happy and relaxed.
