Meet Harley! I’m Harley, a beautiful, social girl rescued from euthanasia at a full shelter in NC. I am 2.5 years old, 50 pounds, and spayed. I’m healthy and current on preventives and vaccines. I’m likely a shepherd and cattle dog mix, which means I’m very smart and athletic. I am very social and love to play with other dogs. I also love my people and enjoy long walks and other activities. I would probably enjoy training or agility classes with my person. Being so smart and social, I have much to say and can bark a lot. Training would help me improve my vocal manners. However, I will sleep quietly all night on your bed. I’m crate and house trained. I am still outgrowing chewing on items if I am bored, so having my own chew toys and plenty of outdoor time will help. My ideal home has outdoor room for me to safely run and explore. A running or hiking partner would be awesome. I would love to play regularly with other dogs, so siblings or play groups would be ideal. Games, training, and exercise will keep my active mind engaged. I am loyal and affectionate and want to spend time with you, whatever you’re doing.
