Harley

Harley is a young energetic guy with lots of love to give. He was surrendered after his owner moved and now settling in to shelter life. We are told he has some chocolate lab in him as well, so being only a year old Harley has a lot of expendable energy. He will need an owner that is able to provide him with the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Harley is great with all other dogs and would probably enjoy a family that had one already. He has never lived with cats so we are somewhat unsure of how he would react to them, but he is quite well tempered and would most likely be fine. He knows his basic commands but has a hard time focussing when it comes to obedience training -- formal training of some kind would be beneficial for him. Due to the energy level and the fact that he is still quite jumpy, we are recommending a home with either no children or ones that are at least 10 years old. This guy is a smart cookie and will thrive in the right environment. For more details, please contact the shelter or come down to meet him - he's always up for a walk!
