Harley had a rough start when she arrived to New York but she is doing much better now. It takes Harley a couple of months to warm up to new people and new places, but once she is comfortable she's a love bug. She needs a home who is willing to take things at her pace, which can include ignoring her completely for the first few months until she comes to you. She does not like to go on walks, she enjoys a good yard with a nice chair to sunbath and being a homebody, sneaking herself under a blanket for a good nap. If you are looking for a pup to take with you everywhere, Harley is not for you. Harley does well with other animals in the home who are also willing to go at her pace.
Harley needs someone willing to put in the work. We know the right family for her is out there!
