Introducing the adorable Hardy! This handsome boy is a 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix. He currently weighs 22 pounds and is not expected to grow much more. Hardy was rescued alongside his littermates, Hailey, Holly, and Harris from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, Georga where they were scheduled to be euthanized simply for space. Rescued just in time, they cannot wait to begin the next chapter of their lives! Hardy has a handsome, smooth white coat with light tan markings. Given his past, Hardy can be a bit shy and nervous when first meeting new people but he is very curious and will have to come say hello. Once he gives you a kiss or two, it'll be history and Hardy will be your new bestie. Hardy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is good with cats, and great with people of all ages. Hardy loves to play with his friends, with or without toys, and also loves to snuggle with them afterward. Hardy is housebroken, sleeps through the night in his crate and walks very well on a leash. He aims to please and of course loves a good treat, so training is fun for everyone! He already mastered the commands sit and come.
