Meet Hans, a charming 2-year-old pit bull mix with a heart as big as his wagging tail. This delightful pup found his way to the shelter in February, initially a bit shy but quickly finding solace in the company of his kennel mate, whom he shadowed faithfully. Over time, Han blossomed into a spirited and playful companion, eagerly seeking the affection of his handlers, joyfully leaping into laps, and reveling in every pet. Though he's made remarkable progress, Hans is still learning to fully trust people. He can be a bit intimidated by car rides and walks, but with patience and encouragement, he's steadily gaining confidence. He's crate trained and nearly mastered potty training, proving himself to be a diligent learner. Hans adores toys and belly rubs, and above all, he craves love and attention. Hans is in need of a loving home who can take things slow, allowing him the time and space to build trust and decompress.He would greatly benefit from slow and repeated introductions to new people, children and pets in the household.
