Hannah

Hannah is a big girl with a very big heart. She was rescued from Mayflower from a well-intentional family that could not care well for her. She is a 4- year old pure St. Bernard. She loves to be brushed and hugged. She will roll over on her back to be rubbed on her stomach. She loves to smell everything she can find and to roll in the grass. She is trained to a leash, but is very strong and doesn’t quite realize how big she is. She has not been around other dogs, so I'm not yet sure how she will behave with a pack. Hannah needs a home with someone who can give her a lot of love and attention that she has been lacking for so long. Since she was not cared for or given preventive medicines, she tested positive for heart worms. However, she is on medication and is expected a full recovery. She is not exhibiting any outward signs, but appears very healthy. She was recently spayed. We were told that she is good with children. However, due to her size, small children are not recommended. She has exhibited good behavior for both men and women. Hannah is being boarded at a great facility that is charging us $10 per day. So we could really, really use a foster home for Hannah. Open your heart and try to find room for Hannah. You will be amazed what some TLC from a good foster family will do for Hannah. Fostering increases the chances of Hannah being adopted in a forever home. Of course, we will be happy to skip the fostering step and place Hannah immediately in a forever home.
