My Story

Hanna's eyes say it all - her face is very expressive and the looks she gives can just melt any heart. She is extremely sweet and is calmly searching for her forever family. Hanna is an easy-going, calm, and low-energy female dog who does need to be the only dog in the home. She is easy to leash and not reactive when walking by other dogs to go outside. Hanna knows how to sit and takes treats gently. She loves to play fetch and is "100% adorable" as a volunteer said. Come and meet this great dog...your new best friend! Although she is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center has provided a $400 sponsorship to help cover the cost of treatment. If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at [email protected] with the subject line "Hanna 249660". She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 49lbs Age: 3yrs 8mths 4wks
