Hey there, everybody! Hanks the name and huggin is my game! Im a hound with a heart full of love who is looking for a family that will help me learn what its like to live the good life. Or as my friends here at CRCPA like to say, learn how to dog. Im gentle, funny, and a little shy. Some people calm their nerves with security blankets or breathing exercises but I love to give my friends hugs. Yes, you heard that right. Hugs! They help me feel better nothings better than a hound hug, right? I love people and the pets they give me, so Im just returning the favor! Ive heard this guy named Elvis Presley sing about hound dogs crying all the time I do have that loud hound dog bark, sure. But I dont use it all the time. If I do, its because Im super excited about feeding time or seeing one of my kennel neighbors out and about while Im on a walk! Im still learning how to interact with my canine pals here at the rescue its something I havent had much of an opportunity to do and Id love to make some friends. If Im lucky enough to have a canine sibling in my forever home, theyll have to teach me the art of boundaries, while also showing me the ropes. I dont know much about living in a home... I've never been in one! So Im hoping my new family can commit to teaching me all the tips and tricks like housebreaking, leash manners, and basic obedience. I know it might take some time, Im essentially just one big puppy. But give me the time, and I promise Ill reward you with the best hugs, some goofy antics thatll have you in stitches, and a lifetime of loyalty! So I guess the question now is... why should you adopt me? Well, who wouldnt want a gentle, loving, hug-giving goofball in their life?
