Hank is a sensitive guy with a heart as big as all outdoors. Physically he is quite beautiful. Very leggy, shiny-coated, with brown eyes that look deeply into your own, he is immensely appealing both in appearance and personality.

Hank is a Border Collie mix on his mom's side, and a question mark on his dad's, but he bears closest resemblance to a short haired pointer in his conformation and in his endearing stance, which always has one front paw lifted and poised.

Hank is not expected to exceed 40 pounds at maturity.

Hank's outstanding personality trait at this stage of his young life is his extraordinary eye contact, and the very solemn and serious expression in his soft brown eyes. His expression of deep concern at such a tender age is almost comical, and often provokes great mirth in his care provider. Once he hears her laughter, Hank then bounds into her lap and settles there as if he is relieved not to have to continue to consider the burdens of the big world.

Hank has excellent house manners - he is completely house trained and he does not chew on anything other than his very own toys. While completely happy to lie inside the house nuzzling his foster mom, outside he runs and cavorts with joyful abandon. He has excellent catch and fetch instincts.

Hank is wonderfully healthy and alert, and highly responsive. He definitely loves to be held, and he cuddles with ardent devotion. His innocence and sweetness are reflected in his studied and focused demeanor, and Hank will love his adopter with an unabashed loyalty and faithfulness.
