Hank is a wonderful young boy, not to push the drama button but Hank was hours from being put to sleep when a volunteer from S.O.A.R. found a rescue STAR ( Rowan county) to sponsor him. Hank is now in a foster home with 2 boxers and 3 cattle dogs (mixes). He seems to do well with kitty cats too.He gets along with everyone and loves to play with boy and girl dogs. Hank crates well and is safe to leave unattended in the house.Hank is housebroken with a dog door access and sleeps right on the side of my bed at night.
Hank is extremely submissive to human commands as if he has been dealt with harshly by his last owner. He was very unsure about being in the house and seems to appreciate a warm night sleep. House noises (TV, Heater) terrify him but he's learning to calmly deal with the strange world called a HOUSE. He is uneasy driving in the car but we are working on it.
Hank does like to bark at noises or people walking by the house. He settles down when told to; he may not be suited for an apartment due to the barking at noises. Other wise he has perfect house manners.Hank is up to date on shots and has been neutered, all he needs now is a loving forever home that will benefit from his love and unwavering devotion. I can not put in to words how wonderful his full body wiggle is when he is happy to greet you or when you play with him...it's truly something to see first hand.
