Hank has found his forever home with Oliver and Ryan in New Rochelle, NY
Hank is a 49 pound, 2 1/2 year old Bassett Hound. He was sitting in a city shelter when he was rescued. He likes attention espcially from woman. He likes lying around in the sun soaking up the rays and when he runs, his ears just about lifts him off the ground. He is fine with cats and other dogs however he does show a lot of interest in dog bowls other than his own. He is house and crate trained. This wonderful boy is being fostered down south and his adoption fee is $375.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
