Hamish

Hamish is a cute bundle of love and energy! He really enjoys laying on the couch with you and playing with toys. If allowed, he would love to sleep in bed with you but is happy to sleep in a crate as long as you're in the same room. He does get a bit of anxiety when crated with nobody present. He is dog friendly, loves to play. A fenced yard is an absolute must as he does get anxiety and tends to pace/wander. If he has the opportunity to bolt while off leash without a fence, he will. Hamish loves to take walks but is still learning certain leash manners. If there is water available, hes getting in! He absolutely loves car rides and staring out the window. Hamish is good with children, but small children (toddlers, babies) should always be supervised around any child-friendly dog so the dog isn't put in a bad position. He is seemingly good with cats. At first introduction to cats in foster home, he wanted to chase, but the cats have ignored him and he has grown to do the same. Hamish struggles with anxiety and would do best in a home where owners are able to spend time with him and where he isnt left alone in a crate often.
