Ham's the name and finding my forever family is my game! Haven't heard of me yet? Take a look at what my friends here have to say about me! Spending time with my people? I can't think of anything better! Giving kisses, rolling over for belly rubs, and snuggling up with my humans all sound like a great time! While I love to spend time with my friends here at the shelter that I've gotten to know, I can be a bit shy with new people and in new situations. I'd do best with a family that can take things at my own pace - I promise you'll be rewarded with lots of love for your patience! I'm not just about getting pets though - I'm an active boy and would love to spend time outside with you! My friends here have said I'm great on leash, so I'd be perfect for a stroll around the neighborhood! I have a medical condition that can make me unsteady on my feet, though, so more laid-back adventures like a walk in the park (with plenty of time for sniffing!) sound like my jam. Now, I have had my moments, and I tend to take treats too excitedly. Watch your fingers as I don't want to accidentally nip them. I'm a very playful guy, and I love toys: squeakers, tennis balls, stuffies - you name it! That said, I'm not super keen on sharing my toys.
