Name - Hallie Age - About 3 years old Weight - About 72 lbs LIKES: Squeaky toys and Nylabones, playing with other dogs DISLIKES: Anything unfamiliar PERSONALITY: Sweet but fearful. She likes to stick close to home and her pack ENERGY LEVEL: High energy FAVORITE ACTIVITY: She loves to play with other dogs and her toys. FAVORITE TREAT; She loves all treats, but people food is her favorite. GOOD WITH DOGS, CATS, KIDS: She's good with other dogs, but she can try to be dominant with some. Cats and kids unknown. SIGNALS TO GO OUT: She'll come to get you when she wants out and won't leave you alone until you take her. HOUSETRAINED: She is house trained. CRATE TRAINED: She's crate trained although she doesn't like it much. She does have separation anxiety. CHALLENGES: Her fear of anything and anyone new is Hallie's biggest challenge. She's come a long way, but she remains a work in progress. MEDICAL: She takes medicine daily for her fears and anxiety. BEST HOME: The best home for Hallie is with someone patient  who's willing to continue to work with her. She would also probably like a dog sibling. Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1 1/2 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $100.00 {$75 if Senior} of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue.
