Halaena may be small in size with her short legs, but she has a big personality that is sure to make a huge impact on your life. This little bundle of joy is a cuddler at heart, always ready to snuggle up and give you all the love and affection you could ever ask for. Unfortunately, we do not know any information about her parents as she was dropped off with a mix of litters in a bin at a high kill shelter. Our best guess is one of her parents was a short breed dog. We think her stubby little legs are adorable.  Don't let her sweet demeanor fool you - Halaena is also a playful pup who loves to make silly faces and engage in fun and games. This little girl is always up for some excitement, but equally loves her nap cuddles. One of the most endearing qualities of Halaena is her ability to easily adapt to new environments and situations. Whether you live in a bustling city apartment or a cozy suburban home, Halaena will quickly make herself right at home and become a beloved member of your family. Not only is Halaena a fantastic companion for humans, but she also gets along famously with other animals. Whether you have dogs, cats, or children in your household, Halaena is sure to fit right in and become fast friends with everyone she meets. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.  You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.  We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
