I'm currently in a Toronto foster home Rescue Story: This charming pup began as a stray, finding his way to the city shelter when he was just a tiny puppy, around 2-3 months old. When you first meet me, you might notice a touch of shyness, but I warm up quickly, especially when treats are involved. I'm quite easy to handle, and you can hold and carry me without any trouble. In the company of other dogs, I'm incredibly friendly. I'll approach them gently, eager to make new friends and play. I particularly get along well with smaller-sized dogs. If I encounter an aggressive dog trying to start trouble, I won't back down – I'm not one to shy away from a challenge. I have a moderate to high energy level, so I enjoy spending time outdoors to burn off some of that energy before settling down indoors. While I tend to pull a bit on the leash during walks, I'm an obedient follower of the handler. When entering a new place, I may display a touch of initial apprehension, but with practice, I quickly become more confident. The good news is, I don't exhibit resource-guarding behaviors towards people or other dogs. Barking is not my thing, and I'm already crate-trained. I'm adaptable when it comes to potty time, and comfortable with both indoor and outdoor options. Once I've had the chance to warm up to you, get ready to see my bubbly, affectionate side.
