Hades

HADES is a local surrender that had to be given up because the owner had a housing issue and could not find an apartment to accept him. Which is a shame because he is about the perfect dog - he loves everyone and gets along with people, other dogs, cats, and kids. He's a purebred red Doberman and is just a big loverboy. Not to mention gorgeous! He wants nothing more than to be pet all day and loved on. He can have a scary bark when encountering strangers, but as long as introduced correctly and he understands they're a safe person, then they're "in". He has a funny thing where he can get so amped up to play that it almost can look aggressive if you don't know him, but it's in fact the complete opposite - it's just a "play with me!" affect. Hades is 4 years old and fully vetted (about 70 lbs) and will make some family a wonderful companion! (He seems a bit predatory with cats, so no cats for Hades) Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
