Gus

"Gus" is great with kids, people and other animals cats AND dogs both.....He will bark when someone comes in the house - does not have to be a stranger - just when anyone comes in. It is his way of saying "Hi"! He warms right up once he sees who ever it is coming into house. He is a very friendly dog. The only reason the owner has to surrender him is that their other male dog is not wanting Gus around and he is causing problems with Gus so there is alot of tension in the home. There is a small baby in the house so it is not a good situation. His only health issue is the owners had to have his right eye removed because of what the vet called "trauma to the eye". It was an injury that took place before they took Gus in. Having one good eye does not cause any problems at all. He has learned to adjust by just turning his head.

Gus is on no medications. He eats Eukenuba dog food, dog biscuits - loves treats. Gus is House trained...He is Ok on a leash ..could use some more leash training...He is also good off the leash. The owners got "Gus" in August of 2008 as a puppy. He is approximately 90 lbs and he is neutered.
