Gus

He is 35-40 pounds. Gus comes from an animal abuse case, so this is why we stated he needs an experienced adopter. If you watch the video, this was his first time with one of our volunteers and he was friendly, outgoing, and delightful! Shelter staff said he does not seem to mind cats and gets along with dogs; he is better 1 on 1 than in a larger group. He is sweet and calm as long as you don't raise your voice. He must be adopted into a home with a fenced in yard. As with all of our dogs, please bring any children/dogs to meet Gus at your meet and greet. We adopt nationwide as long as transport is arranged; there may be an additional fee for a health certificate when crossing state lines. Gus’ adoption fee is $60 and he is neutered and vaccinated.
