My Story

Gus is a Alaskan Husky mix, with beautiful pale-blue eyes and a face you've just got to love! He's about a year old, and housetrained, with a tan and white coat. He was adopted from NHS but had to be returned for reasons that had nothing to do with him. He gets along well with other dogs here at our Adoption Center, enjoys the dog park, and is a really fun, playful pup. He might do best in a home with older children. He walks nicely on his leash, and you'll be charmed by the way one ear stands at attention and the other is "at ease." At an NHS adoption event, our volunteer called him "a very handsome and active boy who stole a lot of hearts with those blue eyes." He's neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. If you're looking for an adorable young dog with plenty of love to give you, please come say hello to Gus!
