My Story

8.2 Gunner(DCAS) Needs Foster or Forever Home Gunner was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. At just three years old this guy has lived a lot of life and is ready for his forever home. Gunner is one handsome boy and he knows it, striking a pose whenever he sees the camera! Gunner does great at keeping his kennel clean, and he seems like he would get along well with other dogs and possibly cats! Knowing sit, stay, down, up, and shake, Gunner has a lot of obedience and walks well on a leash. Coming to the shelter already neutered, Gunner is scheduled to get his vaccines and a heartworm test done prior to adoption. He may have some vision loss that will be checked out during his vet appointment as well. Applications for Gunner can only be filled out in person at the shelter or online at https://secondchanceforpets.com/adoption-application/ application/ application/ **To see all pet listings go to www.secondchanceforpets.com. *Not all pets listed are in the foster program. Second Chance for Pets partners with Dewitt County Animal Shelter (DCAS) to find fosters or adopters for abandoned, surrendered, or unclaimed pets. Courtesy posts (CP) may be shared for families that need to place their pet.
