My Story

MEET GUNNER! This handsome boy's family has decided it best to find him a new forever home due to their busy schedules which do not leave them lots of time and energy to spend with a young black lab/retriever boy. They love him dearly but feel they need to give up "Gunner" to be fair to him. They only want the best for their boy; and only want him to find a new, forever home that will love him as much as they do.

You could not get a more happy boy than Gunner! He is a little over 7 mos. old. and is half lab and half golden retriever. What a great breed combination! He just has this playful, sweet, irresistible free spirit about him! He LOVES TO PLAY, and LOVES attention (what lovable labrador doesn't?!) He always sports a big smile and is just an exceptional boy! Gunner has a wavy, sleek, shiny all black coat and is such a handsome and well proportioned guy! This loving guy sure enjoys playing, going on walks (though continued training with leash manners would be a plus) and is a pro catch player! He is an exuberant boy and we know he would excel in obedience training given the chance and would love to form a trusting bond with his new person through classes. We are sure he would LOVE to have a doggie sibling to play with and show him the ropes to becoming part of his new family. Gunner would love nothing more than to go romping in woodsy trails, beach combing, being social at the dog park and after a day full of fun, content to hang out with his new ‘person.’ He boasts a big heart full of love to give and is ready to receive all the love and attention he was always meant to have!
