Two year old Gunner has just arrived and his quickly growing fan club has loads of good things to say: “He has the shiniest, most gorgeous slick Chocolate coat!” “He’s a sweetheart and very sweet with other dogs.” “A very nice boy!”
Gunner is a bit thin and lanky at 56 pounds after finding himself homeless and unwanted in a shelter – add about nine more pounds and he’ll be perfect and, if you can believe it, even more handsome. On his long ride from a rural shelter that keeps dogs for only a very short time to his new beginning with us, he rode quietly. He was very curious about all the sights of the big city and a good, cooperative boy for his vet check up. He got along great with his canine travel mates and even spent a bit of time quietly sitting on one youngster!
