Guava is such a friendly, loving, and affectionate girl who will win you over with her whole-body wiggles, her soul-baring eyes and her melt-into-you nuzzles. Guava likes every person she meets, and is always ready to make a new friend and turn heads. She loves walks, snuggles, destroying stuffies, chewing on bully sticks, and working her way through frozen Kongs, snuffle mats and puzzles. Always eager to be by your side, Guava is the perfect work-from-home companion. She is housetrained, almost never barks, and most often naps on her bed or the couch while you work, though expect her to dole out regular reminders that you should take a break, when she comes over to rest her head on your lap, asking for pets. Guava has a wonderfully gentle disposition mixed with just enough of a mischievous streak to keep you on your toes. She would love an adopter(s) who can manage her excitability and help her learn to settle. In return, she will love you more deeply than you could ever imagine! Guava deserves the world, and so do you. Come get your girl. Guava has tested positive for heartworm and she is undergoing treatment at our Ellis Veterinary Clinic. OTAT will cover the cost of her treatment until she is heartworm negative. She is currently in the first (Doxycycline) phase of treatment and will be undergoing injections on 3 future dates (8/20, 9/19 & 9/20).
