Howdy folks, Im a handsome 11-month-old German Shepherd mix named GS. I weigh 50 lbs and I was found in San Antonio Texas when I was just 4 months old. My foster mom saw me wandering around with a senior dog who sort of took me under his wing and showed me all the feeding stations around the neighborhood set up for the many stray dogs. One day, we stopped by hers and she took us in, took us to the vet, and let us get familiar with home life. These days I’m ready to find my future! I’m a medium-energy, friendly boy who gets along great with everyone, just a bit shy at first. I am well-behaved, listen well, and respond to my name. I know basic commands like come here, sit, no, down, go, and a few others. I am very social and enjoy interacting and playing with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a dog buddy. I enjoy playing with dog toys and splashing in the kiddie pool on hot summer days. I am sweet and affectionate, love pets and belly rubs, and watching TV beside you. I’m loyal, crate-trained, and housebroken. I love walks and rides in the car, and I don't have separation anxiety or guard my food, people, or toys. I only bark to alert and never jump fences or dig in the yard. My foster mom says I’m a wonderful dog with a wonderful personality and someone will be very happy to call me their forever dog.
