**Long stay $75 adoption special!** Are you looking for a lifetime goofy partner? Meet Growlithe! He's a georgeous shepherd mix, thought to be about 6 years old and 70 lbs. We don't know much about Growlithe's life before Brave since he was a stray at an overcrowded Texas shelter. Growlithe won the hearts of the shelter staff with his puppy dog eyes and obsession with tennis balls. He has been through a lot of stress and change in these last few months, but give him a little time and space to adjust and he will be your number one companion. Growlithe needs a cat-free home but does get along well with other dogs. He loves nothing more than playing fetch so if you're able to do that, you'll be golden. You'll be our hero if you give Growlithe his forever home - he is so deserving of a family of his own! House trained: Yes Leash trained: Yes Kennel trained: Yes - kenneled at night and while fosters are at work Rides well in a car: Yes Good with other dogs: Yes, does great with large dogs. Do not recommend a home with small dogs. Good with cats: No Good with young children (under 10): No, due to size, but would be fine with older kids! Barks: Not really Apartment qualified: No due to size Health concerns or special needs: None We believe this dog is a Shepherd mix and was born around 1-19-2018. He is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $75 (adoption special) which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter.
