Grover came to us in the late summer of 2022 from a hoarding case that gave us 8 dogs all different levels of feral. It took us a very long time to gain their trust and teach them how to dog (mostly through fosters) and get them up for adoption. Grover was adopted in January of 2023 and returned to us in March 2024. The family that adopted him really wanted a dog to be able to take to restaurant patios eat and dog friendly events and after a year, Grover has not changed his position on the public being terrifying, so he was brought back. Grover is roughly 3 years old and has done well meeting the volunteers at the rescue but takes a while to fully trust anyone. He is good with other dogs. He is more fearful of men than women. He does not like to be crated but does well outside of it!
