Grover

Grover is a 5-year-old Anatolian mix who came to us as a stray in March 2022. He was terrified and didn't know anyone or where he was going. He got some much needed TLC from our staff and his confidence has since grown tremendously. He is more outgoing, treat motivated, and LOVES to hang out with the staff at the front desk. He thinks he is a lap dog and can easily be found in someone's lap or in a chair of his own. Grover is looking for a home with no kids and no other pets, he wants to be your only baby! He is so loving and just needs time to adjust to a new home and environment. We need a family that will give him time and have patience with him while he is settling into his new home. He is so loyal and will love you forever. At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
