Groot

(Looking for local adopter, so maybe he and his brother Rocket can have visits to play.) Groot and his brother were surrendered to rescue because the owners lived in an apartment and could not keep them. They were born in February 2024, but we do not know the exact date. Groot is very friendly and loves playing and being petted on. He is good with other pets and people of all ages. He is a young, so he acts like a puppy and will jump, so may knock small kids down. He is good in the house as long as he has plenty of potty breaks and will use puppy pads, but also occasionally tear puppy pads up too. lol Groot will need a fence and another dog friend to play with in his new home. As well as someone that understands how much poodle mixes need to be groomed. Poodle mixes need grooming every 6-8 weeks because that matt so easily. Groot has been groomed, neutered, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested, and on prevention. They must be kept in heartworm prevention all of their lives. The adoption fee is $425 to an approved and loving home. (The adoption fee is higher due to grooming and extra shot needed, since they have never had puppy shots.)
