Nov09 -- Griffin is growing and we've noticed some feathering of his tail and slightly longer coat then Labs generally have. May be mixed with Flat Coated Retriever. Great dog --- needs a home to love him!
Oct 09=Griffin is a 9-10 month old handsome, friendly Black Retriever with lots of puppy energy. This boys wants to play and also receive affection. Present weight 50 pounds. Seems fine with other dogs we don't know about cats. Has been fine with children too. Nice family dog willing to learn and take direction. Needs work on manners - he wants some attention so can be a bit boisterous. Large fenced yard with an active family willing to throw him a ball --- would be perfect for Griffin. Making progress on potty training, still needs work on leash walking, crate trained and keeping clean. Definitely would benefit from obedience classes --- but this is a boy wanting to please. Neutered, vaccines up to date and heartworm check negative. Adoption fee $160
