Donate Dober Duds GRETCHEN. Gretchen is an adorable 7-8 month old girl that was picked up as a stray. She is a petite girl weighing about 35-40 lbs. Gretchen is housebroken and crate trained and does need her crate for security as that is where she will go if she becomes unsure or afraid. This little girl is quite shy and fearful of many things and situations. She needs a very patient, experienced owner willing to go very slow with her in regards to training as well as adjusting to a new life in a loving home. Gretchen is working on some basic manners such as learning to sit and wait for her food and walking nicely on a leash but an obedience class will be required to help build her confidence. She is extremely food motivated. Gretchen will do best in a quieter home with no children. A fenced yard would be ideal to run off her puppy energy and to keep her safe if she is frightened. She really loves to be outside and has even started running around with a ball in her mouth. This really is a huge step for her! Gretchen in currently living with 2 other dogs and really just wants to play. She would probably do well with a dog that is tolerant of puppy play. Although it may take some time, once you have earned Gretchen's trust and she has bonded with you, she is a big kisser and loves curl up right next to you every chance she gets.
