Meet Greta, a female, 9 year and 10 month old Chihuahua mix. She weighs 19 pounds.
Greta arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is a friendly girl who enjoys going for walks and relaxing on her bed.
Greta will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how she will do with cats.
Greta is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today.
We are temporarily operating adoptions on Tuesday -- Friday 12pm - 4pm BY APPOINTMENT. Making an appointment is easy, and same day appointments are often available.
