Greggy (Lucky)

From Greggy's foster mom:

This sweet little dog loves kids and loves to play but also settles right down when playtime is over. Loves toys and tennis balls and he can run very fast. Greggy, also known as Lucky, is fun to watch. When everyone is done playing with him he is perfectly happy to curl up on your lap or on a dog bed. I don't think I would recommend children under 6 or 7 because he plays a little rough.

UNFORTUNATELY a man must have abused poor Lucky. He is very afraid of my husband but loves my 13 yr. old son. He is slowly getting better with my husband. Lucky would be the perfect dog for a child who wants a best friend. He is the perfect size. apprx. 15lbs. listens well to commands: sit , lay, stay. If when playing he puts his teeth on your hand (playfully) and you don't like that all you have to say is ouch or no and he stops immediately.

When we first got lucky he was almost afraid of hugs and kisses and my family of five are taking care of that, he is really lovin the hugs more and more each day. I also have 2 labs he plays very well with. Anyone would be "lucky" to have such a sweet dog. When we walkLucky a lot of people say he looks like a fox. My guess on breed is basenji mix. Lucky deserves alot of t.l.c. you can tell he was not always loved. He startles and becomes scared at loud noises but easily calms with a little love and reassurance.
