My Story

GRAHAM GRAHAM is a 2 year old male, that weighs 95 lbs (he's all done growing) He is most likely a Great Pyrenees mix? although Newfoundlands sport that pretty black coat too? Regardless, we are not sure where that "signature" speckled paw came from. For his age, he's very quiet and easy. Our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program is a great way to find out everything there is to know about a dog so he's currently participating. Here, he is also developing basic obedience skills, a very nice thing to have if you're an extra-large breed dog. He's doing great in the program! He remains quiet and easy and oddly enough, has befriended all the high energy youngsters and the bossy females. He has bonded nicely with his inmate and shadows him everywhere. He's a leaner! GRAHAM's best fit home must have a fenced in yard. He was born on a farm and strayed off which is how we got him. Pyrenees tend to wander. He'll be fine with older children due to his size (although he is very gentle). His coat is sleek and beautiful, but it will require maintenance. If you are a big dog lover, you really need to meet this guy! If interested, our adoption application is on our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com. Additional adoption FAQ's are there also. Meets will be set with approved applicants. Thank you!
