Gracie-Adopted

Gracie is a 7 month old black and white full blooded Pekingese. Until she was rescued on 3/21/10 she spent her entire life in a crate. She did not know how it felt to run around on the floor like she did when she arrived at her foster mom's house. Gracie is very tiny and is extremely curious. Gracie was also born without a tail...she doesn't mind not having a tail...she is a happy little girl and says "what tail".This little girl is just too cute. Gracie is looking for her forever home and family.

4/17/10: Boy is Gracie a character. She has soooo much personality. She knows how to go out a doggie door, cuddle with her foser mom, and play and play and play. She also loves nap time. If you ever meet Gracie you will want to just eat her up....she is not only a real cutie but just a precious baby. At 7 months she may weigh all of 6 pounds.

Due to Gracie's tiny size, she is NOT suitable for families with very small children.

Current on wormings, vaccines, has been scheduled for her spay surgery , and is on heartworm and flea preventive.




WHAT MUST I DO TO ADOPT?

All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked



WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?

Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?

Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
