My Story

Gracie came to us the size of a hamster: itsy-bitsy and full of zest! She was one feisty pup; under 8 weeks and already playing fetch! She spent 3 1/2 months in foster care with Zoe and family as she wasn't the exactly the laid-back style of dog many search for. She was however an amazing catch for just the right folks, and boy did the right people find her.

Pat and Mike Myers had just lost their Pit Bull girl Tantrum, whom they had shared their love and lives with for 7 1/2 years, and their house felt empty with out their companion. Their daughter spotted Gracie on http://www.victoriaadoptables.com and sent the link to her parents. They too fell in love with her cute mug, and began the process of making her theirs. When all was said and done she flew home to her new home in Powell River and has definitely added some spice to their lives!

Update- Gracie is an amazing dog full of energy, and then more drive. She is an excellent working dog prospect and definately needs a job or two to do. If you are looking for a competitive obedience, agility, or other sport prospect this gem may be your match.

This wee little bundle of pit is going was found living on the street. Yes she is very cute and oh so tempting, but puppies need work, and then more work. They need time, energy, and a houseful of patience. They they wake you up through-out the night, pee on your nice couch, poo on your carpets, chew up your favourite shoes, and then try to proceed through the rest of your closet. And they do this every day for the first several months of their lives, and occasionally there on after for the rest of their lives. They need to go to puppy and basic obedience classes to ensure they can become all they can be. This is especially important with pit bulls as they face a world full of discrimination, and responsible ownership is the key to changing people's minds one at a time.

So you think that you are up for raising Gracie, then fill out an application telling us why.
