Jan 20, 2006 - Introducing Gracie, a 2 y/o little girl.
Gracie made a LONG drive this morning, all the way from western Kansas. Turns out Colorado had the closest Rescue Representative.
Gracie comes into rescue from an abusive background. The papers that came with her state that she was taken by the local Police Department. We've been told that she was verbally abused, though we haven't seen any of the "normal" abuse signs. She does appear to have some hearing issues and teeth issues that will need to be worked with. The hearing is being evaluated but she is suspected of being deaf, meaning she will need a home that understands a deaf dog.
She is an absolute cuddler! In fact, she rode in my lap the whole way home, always with her head on one arm or the other, so she was in the perfect position for a hug.
She is UTD on shots, spayed & housebroken.
If you're looking for the perfect companion, look no further. Gracie is ready to go home with that perfect family, just out there waiting for her.
