Gracie

Gracie is a ton of fun! She loves to learn, play, hike, hunt, cuddle, and have a great time. Now, all she needs is a person or people to do all of these things with! Originally rescued from South Carolina, Gracie was found chained outside with no food or water and in poor condition. She has been in Canada for over a year and is currently located in Indian Mountain, NB area. Gracie has attended training with Camellia’s Wild Dog Training as a foster dog. She is e-collar conditioned for recall and attention as well as muzzle trained just incase (no bite history). Gracie is 2 years old and weighs roughly 45lbs. She is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. She is active and needs a home that reflects that lifestyle! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. To get started, please submit an adoption application at bit.ly/HOTNADOPT2024 Adoption process: Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we set up a Facebook Messenger Chat to contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
