Grace came to our rescue from Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control. Her fur was matted, she was thin and she was also full of heartworms. She immediatley was groomed and put on a high calorie diet. She has since gained weight and is now heathy enough to start her heartworm treatment. It is anticipated that she will recover without any problems.
Grace is currently living in a foster home with lots of other foster mates. True to her breed she is wonderful with all of them. She plays endlessly with the puppies and is always ready to go for a ride. She is affectionate and loving with her foster parents and loves to cuddle on the couch. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows some basic obedience.
Grace is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. She is scheduled to start her heartworm treatment and will be available to go to her new home in a few short weeks. Applications are being accepted now for her forever home placement.
