Grace

This gorgeous dog was found in a field with her 8 pups. She was a great mom and kept her pups safe and fed even though she was “living off the land” and infested with ticks.

When Grace and her pups arrived at the Town Lake Animal Center, they were healthy, but mom was anemic and plain worn out. All the pups were rescued, but Mom was left behind and was scheduled for euthanasia. Luckily she was rescued at the last minute.

Gracie is now living in a foster home and getting used to living with people. She is house broken and very gentle and sweet. Since Grace hasn't’t had a lot of interaction with people over the years, she is very shy, but she loves belly rubs and is learning to walk on a leash. Grace is very calm and gentle and has great house manners.
