Hi I'm Gouda. I am low maintenance in the attention department, a quick pat on the head makes me very happy! A perfect day for me would be my paw-rents how for most of the day with me. I prefer not to share my home with young children, all the activity is just too much for me. If your family would love a nice quiet companion to enjoy some TV watching or reading with I'm your guy! My optimal Adoptive Home: Low Energy/Activity, Has Adults Only in it, Has someone that is home mostly during the day, Has an area that can be set up for me to stay in during a full work day with potty pads, and Must have a securely fenced in yard (not an available dog park area). I prefer to sleep in a dog bed, Very rare or no indoor accidents, I am blind so it is hard for me to walk on a leash, I don't do well in crates, I am a loner. I like the occasional pets on the head, and I take medicine for pain for my arthritis once a day. I have cataracts so I am considered blind.
