Gordo

Meet Gordo, a 5-year-old male Pit Bull mix. Gordo and his lady friend Gorda were brought to the adoption center by City of Yakima animal control after they were found running the streets in high temps. Gordo is an extra large boy at 99 pounds and does not love to be super hot. He needed a little rest but recovered just fine from his adventure. Gordo is large, similar to a hippo with his grey coloring. He likes to get out in the park and hang out in the shaded grass but he does need some leash training as he pulls. Gordo enjoys pets but really wants treats and will even sit for them. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
