Goose

Also, Goose, the white pittie really needs a home and be loved on. She is SUUUUUCCCCHHH a great dog. She has come so far and is kind of the misfit mascot here at TREY CLARK’S DOG HOUSE. She is special. Very special. . In short: Goose is just an all-around awesome dog. She is everything I would want in a dog if I had more one-on-one time to give her. The dogs that do well as my own in this crazy scene here, are the ones who can be happy being the LEAST LOYAL DOGS EVER! My dogs have a different purpose than a normal owner. They have to interact with other dogs and owners with the same love they give me. They have to NOT be loyal to me so they can be loyal to EVERYONE so we can prime the pump on the good stuff in a frustrating situation with owners and problem dogs. My dogs are what most of us want. We want a dog who loves US, OUR FAMILY…. and also be really nice to the rest of the world.   That is Goose in a nutshell. Goose is a very loyal dog. And she won’t be happiest being loyal to just me because I have to split my time with other dogs, including training mine to train the others. Goose needs the “popcorn / couch time”. She needs the car ride to the post office. She needs to overact when she sees you right after she just saw you. I swear… if she gets that from someone who wants a best friend, and they are willing to work on how she has been trained? She is one of the best dogs I’ve ever come across. She has more loving people rooting for her than any dog I’ve ever met. I’ve just personally failed her in showing her off. (And I actually just like having her here instead of with someone who thinks she’s just a normal dog that someone thought should be thrown away like trash). So I’m maybe to blame 100%. I’ll take it. There is some major mojo behind this She has a home here for as long as she wants. I’m going to vet like crazy anyone who takes her in. And I’ll take her back at any point if they are not a fit. She will NEVER be without a home. I just know I’m robbing her and a potential owner of something better than she gets here (which is pretty damned good!) Goose has brought her good mojo here as a fellow misfit, and I need to pay it forward. She is happy and all of her needs are more than being met here. But she deserves better than that.
